Unless your instructor/school requires you to use this book, don't buy it. It's a waste of time and money. It overly simplifies a lot of important concepts and there is virtually no calculus in the text (you have to know calculus to do microeconomics). Since it's not math based, you're forced to accept a lot of theory/concepts without the proper mathematical proofing. While this probably isn't appropriate for an introductory/first micro course, it definitely isn't appropriate for an economics major or any intermediate course.
If you actually want to learn microeconomic theory, I would suggest any edition of Nicholson/Snyder's Microeconomic Theory which gives better examples and practice problems, not to mention it integrates the calculus you will need to use in any intermediate course.

Beyond disappointed.
I was concern that I would not be receiving an access code for MyEconLab with Pearson eText, the one most important item that is required for most classes. Opened my package, looked around it and notice that there was no key around, strange. Usually outside the clear wrap. Thought it was inside, but nope. Checked the description to see if it did not include it. But it should... i felt cheated and very disappointed since all of my purchases from Amazon at this point were perfect. It's mostly frustrating since I need the access code as soon as possible for my class. Guess I'll just buy it off the website. Good job scamming a poor college student.
