Instead, the targets are the politicians who defrauded the American people. The author gives continual thanks to U.S. politicians, especially Sen. Ted Kennedy, who pushed through immigration "reform" in 1965 while promising it would not change the makeup of America's ethnic status. “First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of [total] immigration remains substantially the same . . . Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset . . . Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia . . . ” Kennedy avowed. “In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think . . . The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs,” Kennedy deceitfully went on. The American Secret Society of Illegals, creators of this book, also informs members of long term goals, such as creating Ramadan Police to enforce fasting during Muslim holy month on all residents of USA, and Peso Police, to enforce new law making Mexican currency legal tender in U.S. as well. This is a political satire. It does NOT make fun of foreigners, but satirizes Americans for losing control over their own borders and being too polite to ask undocumented people to go home and get in line if they want to come here. The new America may work out great, but the changes were put through only by using fraud on the Natural Born Americans of all races. If enough people get this book and get stirred up, maybe we can convince Congress and the President to change course and absorb all of the immigrants we now have, before letting in new millions.

About the Author
Mr. Juan Muhammed Kim entered the United States on June 25, 1987 on a tourist visa from his native country, the name of which he prefers to keep to himself, as he hasn’t yet brought all his relatives over. He filed his first lawsuit on June 26, 1987, charging that it was highly discriminatory to force foreign visitors to the United States to wait in a separate line from American citizens at the Immigration counter. He was awarded $5,250 in an out-ofcourt settlement. With these funds, combined with his first welfare check, Mr. Muhammed Kim put a down payment on a house in comfortable Westchester county just outside New York City. He joined the American Secret Society of Illegals in 1988. On April 1, 1989, long after his tourist visa expired, he was stopped for the minor problem of leaving a store with $698 in unpaid merchandise, heading out to his car to get a credit card. Mr. Muhammed Kim could not produce proof of citizenship or residency and was detained by Westchester County police.

Funny, funny read

The Federalist Papers (Signet Classics)

This is a hysterically funny book, with wicked satire that will make people feel uncomfortable. It really turns its satire on Americans being too complacent. As a Japanese-American, I found it very politically incorrect but not against any race or creed, except terrorists.

As a second-generation American, and again, Asian, the book made me think, too. The book's main point isn't anything against immigrants, legal or illegal. It's just that very liberal politicians made calculated decisions to change America's population mix in order to build up their power base.

They undertook a two-pronged approach - using the 1965 immigration reform act to bring in tens of millions of immigrants from outside Judeo-Christian areas, and augmenting them with tens of millions of illegals more.

The second part came from the 1960s generation who took over the country's educational system. They halted all teaching of what the American constitution was set up to do - create a unified country but PROTECT CITIZENS FROM AN ALL POWERFUL CENTRAL GOVERNMENT IN WHICH MAJORITY MOB RULE takes over.

Teachers in grammar, high school and college never taught me about any of this, more about the evil of "dead white males" who once ran America.

The book doesn't mention Obama but the satire sure leads to the point we've come to, where Obama really does have a popular majority for his plan to make 40% of tax payers pay for 100% of taxes. Why wouldn't people who won't have to pay taxes to get great health and retirement benefit support the guy, who in the most brilliant politician I've ever seen, and soooo attractive and charming, I admit.

I think high school and college kids should read this book, and then study the history of those 'dead white males" who set up this country. So, this book is funny, but it makes you think serioiusly.

Wonderful, but Scary Satire

This is one, very funny book. Unfortunately, I'm afraid undocumented aliens who read English will read it and get real lessons out of it, so right on does it get our weaknesses down. "How to File Your First Lawsuit." is one part that is very real. "Ins and outs of terrorism in your new land" is hilarious, but the 9/11 terrorists really did take advantage of our lax laws and laid back attitudes to kill 3,000 of us.

This book truly mocks we Americans for just waiting passively until the illegal invasion overwhelms us. We're too polite. No other country would permit its foreign-born population, many illegal, to grow to 20-40 percent of the population.

The book that gives a blog spot that I thought was a joke, but it's a real blog, more supposed advice to illegal immigrants. [...]

It's also very funny, and again, scary as it points out how helpless we are. No one ever asked us if we wanted to open our borders to tens of millions of people from the developing world. I travel a lot and people are the same the world over. We're sure not better than any other people, but we're the only suckers who are being overwhelmed.

I like to make videos. I'd like to make one of having a booth at some sidewalk fair and having a person shout out the name of the book with a pile of books on the table, and record how people react it. Especially from the books:' This book cannot be sold to Americans." Look to youtube to see if I follow through.

I can't write humor, so I can't give a flavor of the book without quoting from it. It contains dozens of faux ads that are also so right-on. "Statue of Liberty law firm," "Documents R Us," "Ramadan Police" - making sure regular Americans don't eat during Ramadan, "Peso police" and the "Saudi Arabian Feminist Fund," set up to convince American women to "take up the veil!"

I'm gong to give a few as Christmas gifts to some friends and family members who are worried about illegal immigration to give them a laugh, and it's a cheap enough present, but they'll never forge it; and I'll probably give it to a few of my 'open border' type friends, hoping it will open their eyes.

A funny guide to the harsh truth - We Americans lost our borders

This is an hilarious look at all of the follies o too-polite Americans that have led to the totally open borders that have forever changed the country we grew up in.

I love foreign cultures and overseas living, but you'd never catch me going to Mexico and demand that we get a special field to play U.S. football.

The concept of this book is brilliant - illegals supposedly sharing information about how to become a success in America - how to file your first lawsuit, hilarious ads like 'Documents R Us,' and the Alamo with a banner: "Site of the Great Mexican Victory."

There's a blog site that you should all read for the latest outrages: "[...]"

We can't all be Minutemen and patrol the frontier to call the Border Patrol in when we spot folks entering the country illegally.

I made my own personal decision to act by joining that blog and buying 10 copies of this book to give as Christmas presents, I'll include a note pleading with family and friends to each buy 10 more and pass them on.

I checked out the part of the book that it was Ted Kennedy who led the change in our immigration laws to let in people from all over the world and Google did bring in his promise that "THE LAW WILL NOT CHANGE THE RACIAL MAKE UP OF THE UNITED STATES."

Would the Saudis let 10 million Americans enter legally and illegally.

Primary focus is on the modeling of time or frequency dependent responses to arbitrary load and/or displacement histories. Throughout his distinguished and unconventional career, engineer-turned-molecular-biologist Douglas Axe has been asking the questions that much of the scientific community would rather silence. Now, he presents his conclusions in this brave and pioneering book. Axe argues that the key to understanding our origin is the “design intuition”—the innate belief held by all humans that tasks we would need knowledge to accomplish can be accomplished only by someone who has that knowledge. For the ingenious task of inventing life, this knower can only be God.

Starting with the hallowed halls of academic science, Axe dismantles the widespread belief that Darwin’s theory of evolution is indisputably true, showing instead that a gaping hole has been at its center from the beginning. He then explains in plain English the science that proves our design intuition scientifically valid. Lastly, he uses every-day experience to empower ordinary people to defend their design intuition, giving them the confidence and courage to explain why it must be true and the vision to imagine what biology will become when people stand up for this truth.

About the Author

Douglas Axe, PhD, is the director of Biologic Institute, a non-profit research organization launched by Discovery Institute in Seattle. After his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley and doctoral work at Caltech, he held postdoctoral and research scientist positions at the University of Cambridge, the Cambridge Medical Research Council Centre, and the Babraham Institute in Cambridge. His work and ideas have been featured in many scientific journals, including the Journal of Molecular Biology, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Nature, and in such books as Signature in the Cell and Darwin’s Doubt by Stephen Meyer and Life’s Solution by Simon Conway Morris.

Challenges the conventional view

Undeniable: How Biology Confirms Our Intuition That Life Is Designed, begins by relating a story that illustrates a theme of the book, namely social pressure is a major factor influencing science. He tells of a graduate class exam question at Caltech that asked “Which of the biological macromolecules is apt to be the first living molecule?” Axe knew where this question was going, and answered it in the way the professor wanted, then added he did not believe that any molecule could be the first form of life. For his opinion, he had points deducted, noting that “we as students were expected not only to know current thinking in biology but also to accepted it without resistance.” Axe added that “I had learned my lesson. The stream of scientific consensus flows with an almost irresistible current” This is indoctrination, not education. Professors should be challenging students to evaluate and reason about issues, not just mindlessly repeat what they are told. And this happened at one of the most elite colleges in the world! Axe then recounts meeting a distinguished scientist, a former friend, in Cambridge University, England, where he was a research scientist from 1990 to 2002. Their conflicting views on origins fractured their formerly good relationship. During this chance meeting, Axe noted, we settled for something less then closure. At least Axe tried to reaffirm their friendship even if his former friend did not. After relating other events, Axe concluded that the issue of origins depends less on facts than it does on social pressure. The rest of the book reviewed these facts, many of which are well documented in the scientific literature.

Truth...Refreshingly non-politically correct, bold, and supremely evidenced.

Recommend for Christians struggling to answer the ever-present proclamation from the scientific "community", Hollywood, and the media that science and evolution disprove creation (To the contrary!). Also recommended for non-Christians who have been misled by the biased and demonstrably false teachings spewed from the anti-God pulpits of Academia. An eye-opening and wonderful read!

All biology students should read this book!

I can see why this is a best-seller. The author leads the reader step by step to a profound and inevitable appreciation that organic functional systems (what Michael Behe calls "irreducible complexity" and William Dembski and Stephen Meyer call "specified complexity") are so astronomically improbable that it is physically impossible for them to have arisen in the absence of intelligent design. There is no way that naturalistic evolution (neo-Darwinism) can survive this juggernaut of logic, if its proponents were even sufficiently open-minded to consider the irrefutable arguments. Of course, they won't, because they have careers devoted to maintaining the dictatorial status quo of philosophical materialism. It is a sham that something hardly even counting as a valid scientific theory (supported with no solid empirical evidence beyond imaginary speculation) has been imposed on school students for decades, ensuring the perpetuation of an indoctrinated populace, shorn of confidence in its native ability to reason logically with what the author labels as scientific common sense.

Tyler Braden is filling in at a rural clinic and thinks he's ready for anything, except maybe delivering his own child by a woman he'd been intimate with one night months (nine months) ago. Lexi Hatfield moved back to her rural home to raise her son alone...but alone seems to be the last thing Tyler's prepared to let her be. If only she could know what he's keeping from her, maybe then she could start to trust him...and maybe more!

Tyler Braden was a brilliant doctor in Chicago until a tragedy struck and he was at the center of an investigation which he was cleared of. Now he is taking a sabbatical as a locum physician covering for a small town doctor who was having a knee replacement.

Lexi lost her job in Chicago and refused the move to LA. She ran into the gorgeous doctor down the hall from her apartment and they struck up a conversation, both of them having the worst day of their lives. One thing led to another and they turned to each other for solace and comfort. The next day Lexi left town to move back home in Tennessee.

Fast forward nine months and Lexi has just arrived at the clinic ready to deliver her baby and when the locum walks into her room she is dumbstruck. How could it possibly be the man she spent the night with nine months ago, the father of her baby? The same man who said he never wanted children? She is furious.

This book is about a long journey to happiness. Misunderstandings and misconceptions, lies and secrets abound and I was glad when it all got straightened out. I highly recommend this book.

It was good..

It was good. It started out holding my attention but about 30% through, I just wanted to be done so I could move on to another book. I liked the characters, all of them, but it was rushed and felt like it was a 100 page book instead of 200 pages. I do not know, something was off with this story for me. It was a good afternoon read and I would recommend it, it just was not for me I guess!!

Nuts and bolts of ultralight angling

This book is written by a technically-oriented angler who has established a number of world records using light line tackle. While few of us are likely to duplicate his feats, I was very impressed with the technical details about things like rod action, line twist and hook types which you do not see in many books. He also has a lot of good hints about choice of lures, use of bait and customizing small boats for fishing which I found very interesting. This was one of the best technique-oriented fishing books which I have read in quite a while. I also enjoyed the many anecdotes that he shared throughout the book.

Recommended for professional or personal collections on technical services

I found this book to be an interesting discussion of how acquisitions practices have changed now that much of the information we're purchasing or licensing is electronic. Author Holden makes it clear in the first chapter that we need to make a paradigm shift in acquisitions. No longer can we be content with knowing where to buy something, but we also need to be aware of the many ways to provide access to specific information. This change in responsibilities is increasing the competency level expected of acquisitions staff.

Chapter 2 includes useful discussions about services that vendors provide, vendor relationships, and selecting a vendor. Chapter 3 provides information about the many formats in which information is available, and provides some background on traditional and emerging acquisitions workflows. In Chapter 4, Holden discusses the services that acquisitions units provide, and encourages the systematic collection and analysis of feedback to continually improve those services. In Chapter 5, the author encourages us to "radicalize" acquisitions. By this he means that we must "move definitively away from models that are based on the fixed linearity of process or standardization of information objects." (p. 108). He stresses that we must base our practices on service needs, use vendors and technological solutions when possible, and explore collaborative efforts to "leverage resources and streamline workflow." (p. 109).

I found this book to be an interesting and stimulating discussion on the state of acquisitions today. I think it would be most appropriate for someone who is already familiar with acquisitions processes.

Absolutely essential for every test taker

The short story is that this book is absolutely incredible, worth every penny, and increased my LR performance from getting 15 wrong every time to getting only four wrong every time. BUY IT, especially before you do any other kind of prep. Give yourself a month to get through it. It gives you concrete methods for how to attack every problem type.

The long story:

I had a roundabout way of getting to the point where I ordered this book. I took a Kaplan course and hated it. I did all of the homework and dedicated my life to the course for a month straight. It wasn't working. My score went from a 160 on the diagnostic to a 152, then a 154. The 160 diagnostic enabled me to enroll in their advanced course, but the course was completely unhelpful. Kaplan's methods aren't methods; they just say things like "oh, that is out of the scope, so it's wrong". Well, how do I know it's out of the scope? You don't. Or, you could probably figure it out, but that takes tons of time and on the LSAT you don't have tons of time. Kaplan does not give concrete reasons that can be applied to every question of the same type for determining why something is or isn't correct. The course wasn't working for me or improving my score, so after three weeks (the course was five weeks total), I dropped it. What a waste of over $1000.

I decided to get private tutoring. The tutoring company I used was brilliant for games, but also very expensive and I had already dropped a ton of money on the Kaplan course. I decided I'd look into using a book for LR instead. And I am saying this now to everyone who has not yet started prepping for the LSAT: BUY THIS BOOK BEFORE YOU TAKE A CLASS OR GET TUTORING OF ANY KIND. GIVE YOURSELF A MONTH WITH THIS BOOK BEFORE YOU DO ANY KIND OF LR PREP WHATSOEVER. This will save you a ton of money - the book is a HUGE bargain and worth every penny. It will also give you an excellent foundation for learning how to do every single kind of problem, and it is likely that you will not have to do any other kind of prep (ie tutoring or a class) once you read this book. You will obviously have to do a lot of practice problems and tests, but you won't need any other kind of instruction as to how to do the problems.

The main reason I like this book is it gives you an actual method as to how to do each problem type. My problem wasn't that I didn't understand why the right answer was right, it was that I couldn't finish in time, so I a) had to guess on the last five problems and b) sped up and my accuracy went out the window. By using the methods in this book, I was able to cut down on time for these problems so that I now always finish with at least three minutes to spare. The methods tell you how to look at a problem, what to look for, what is a likely incorrect answer (so that when you see it you can eliminate it very quickly without being tempted), and what a correct answer looks like. The most helpful piece of advice they give is that there is an identifiable and clear correct answer out of each of the choices. By using these methods, I was able to figure out what that answer was quickly, or at least figure out what the wrong answers were quickly.

The other thing to be said about this is that it is a long book. It's over 500 pages. GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME TO GET THROUGH IT. Skimming it, or just reading the methods, will not help you. You have to practice them until they become second nature. And you also have to give yourself enough time to actually get through all of the pages. I worked full time while getting through this, and I spent my lunch hour every day working through it, and was able to get through it in just over a month.

You can't expect this to work miracles overnight. But if you put in the time, it will help you increase your speed and accuracy without ever having to pay for a course or tutoring. Or, it will at least give you a sense of what kinds of problems you have trouble with, and then you can get the most out of tutoring by being efficient about it and targeting your weak areas. Or even if you don't get tutoring, you will know what kinds to practice.

I wasted $1000 before I picked this wonderful book up. Don't repeat my mistake. Use this as a first line of defense, and see just how far it will get you in your quest for a great LSAT score.

Note: I have not gotten my official LSAT score back yet. However, I did finish both LR sections with time to spare, and in practice exams, I had consistently gotten no more than four wrong on the LR sections in the past five tests i'd taken.

Use 7Sage Instead

While this book is helpful, I found an online curriculum called 7Sage to be much more helpful. This book seems to miss some fundamental conceptual ideas behind the questions, while focusing too much on "easy" fixes to get you to the right answer. While that might work for the majority of the questions, if you're looking to be a mid-170s scorer, you need that conceptual background to get the curve-breaker questions correct. I got that background in a much easier manner and more quickly through 7Sage, and so I'd honestly recommend that program over buying this book. 7Sage focuses on things like the concepts that link principle and sufficient assumption questions, rather than teaching those in isolation the way this book does.

Great LSAT Prep Book

I used all three Powerscore books when studying for the LSAT and this was the best; I also recommend the Logic Games Bible (the Reading Comprehension Bible wasn't as helpful, mainly because I think it's a really hard section to study for). It completely changed (in a good way) the way I did the logical reasoning questions - my scores on practice tests greatly improved.
